How your footage gets to the cloud
Videoloft does not replace your CCTV -- it backs it up. We add one small appliance, the Cloud Adapter, next to the recorder you already own. From then on, every camera you choose keeps a second copy of its footage offsite, and you can watch any of it from your phone.

Your recorder carries on storing footage locally just as it does today. The cloud copy is in addition to it -- so if the recorder is stolen, damaged, or wiped, the footage is still there.

Getting set up
What happens on installation day
No new cameras, no new cabling, and no downtime for the system you already run. The adapter joins your network alongside the recorder and starts sending footage up.
What you need to have
Four things, and we can help with the first if it is a problem.
- A spare Ethernet port on your router -- or we bring a switch
- A power socket near the recorder
- The login details for your recorder or cameras
- An internet connection at the site
